Let’s Go Shopping!

We launched our online store last year because so many of our clients asked where they could get more of the wonderful items we find for them. And their friends were also asking about a great source for designer-quality furniture and accessories. Have you shopped around our site yet? If not, here are a few of my favorite picks – but I hope you’ll give us a virtual visit and select some of your own too.

This round table (below) has proved really popular with clients. It’s a substantial side table that has room for a lamp, picture frames and a glass of wine. Plus it works in a variety of design themes, from Tuscan to transitional. This table is excellent quality, very sturdy, and actually gives off more of a distinctive mossy green tone than it appears in the picture.

Zamora Round Table: Plantation-grown mango wood hand-painted charcoal gray and rubbed through to natural wood grain.

Pair this table with the chair below in a Tuscan or Spanish home. They don’t necessarily need to be side by side, but they will play well off each other in the same room.

Velvet and Leather Chair: Lush collage of deep browns, with textures in supple faux leather, suede velvet and damask jacquard. Hardwood feet are stained dark espresso.

One of my favorite uses of this mirror was when we hung three of them in a straight row above a headboard in a client’s bedroom. It was a unique application that lightened up the space and added reflective tones. This mirror could work in a very contemporary or even a transitional home.

De Sol Mirror: Frame is finished in antiqued silver with burnished details and features numerous small accent mirrors. Center mirror is beveled.

If you lean contemporary, combine that mirror – or mirrors! – with this slipper chair. I love its interesting lines, from the curving back to the slightly bowed wood legs. The velvet upholstery is luxurious without being too precious, and the double row of steel nails at the bottom give it a touch of industrial flair too.

Lola Slipper Chair: Velvety smooth, cream-brushed fabric is button tufted and accented with a double row of steel nails. White mahogany frame is crafted with double doweled joinery and finished in antiqued black mottled with natural wood undertones.

Isn’t this bench an eye-catcher? You might use it at a bedroom or bathroom vanity, or as extra seating in your living room. Either way, that hand-carved frame adds a custom touch.

Karlie Small Bench: Hand-carved, white mahogany frame with antiqued almond finish. Upholstery is natural linen accented with brass nails.

Match the bench with these sconces, perhaps on either side of your vanity mirror. They provide a whisper of French styling without being overwhelming.

French Wall Sconce: Inspired by the pillars of a church in France. Hardwired.

And remember, just because an upholstered item isn’t your style doesn’t mean the piece isn’t for you. We can inexpensively have most any item reupholstered in the fabric that best meets your needs, whether that’s leather for your study or durable cotton to withstand jumping kids.

While you are welcome to shop Tracy Lynn Studio on your own, we’d love to meet with you and discuss how some of your favorites might fit into your home’s design. Please contact us to set up a designer consultation.
