Baby Nursery Interior Design – Two New Feet

Tracy Lynn Studio's baby nursery interior design project. Our designer Shannon Weller added a few feet to her home — two precious baby feet!

Grant Michael Weller was born to Shannon and husband Brian on March 17. This sweet bundle weighed almost 9 pounds and was 19.5 inches long.

We wanted to share Shannon and Brian’s joy with you so we’ve posted below a picture of Grant shortly after he was born, followed by shots of his nursery and a few snaps from the baby shower we all attended prior to Grant’s birth.

You’ll notice the baby nursery interior design incorporates Shannon’s sense for neutral tones combined with shabby chic and vintage pieces. The room will grow with Grant — she can add pops of color and continue to use most of the furniture as he moves into his toddler years. All of the important elements of a nursery are there: crib, comfortable nursing chair, changing table, adequate lighting, soft fabrics, storage in shelves and decorative boxes, mixed textures and individualized touches. This nursery design is the perfect example of how we approach everything we do for our clients in terms of beauty, personalization, and functionality.

The shower pictures show how even a party can take advantage of creative touches such as the fingerprint keepsake and the wishing tree, both presented in visually appealing ways. The “It’s a Boy” pennants are reminiscent of a similar element Shannon used in her wedding reception decorations a few years ago.

We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we have. Congratulations to Shannon and Brian!
