Fundamentals of Color: Part 2 – The Symbolism
In addition to their remarkable ability to transform into other hues, colors have the ancillary ability to evoke feelings through their hidden meanings. This psychological phenomena brings us to our second stop in our journey through all things color. Now let’s take a look at the hidden symbolism behind some of our “favorite” colors and see what they may suggest about ourselves and the world around us.
Red is undoubtedly one of the most striking and memorable of hues and suggests feelings of Energy, Power, Passion, Excitement, Danger, and Strength.
